I want to thank the office staff and Dr. Machorro for the five years of care and support they provided my family. We went through a lot together and I truly appreciated the moments of help and support.
With that said, I am very disappointed in how our relationship ended. After five years, receiving a dismissal letter because of missed appointments felt disheartening, especially since I have always been responsible about rescheduling when unexpected things came up. Life happens, especially with children, and I always did my best to communicate and make things right.
Regardless, I want to express my gratitude for the years of service and care. Even though I did not expect things to end this way, I do appreciate the effort that was put into my son’s health throughout those years.

This review is simply reflected upon office staff. Not a reflection on the current doctors and medical professionals. Office staff is highly rude and common sense seems to not be an attribute. Ibarra has been my children’s family primary care doctor for years now, we make their physicals yearly and other important visits. So much so that Ibarra recognizes me (their grandparents)and my sons with confidence and could reiterate their conditions based on memory. One day my son was sick and the next morning he recovered very rapidly during a time where there was high numbers of actual sick patients needing to be seen ( office exact words when I called the day he was sick 🤒), medical health is not always black and white, and well I called the office to express my son did not need the appointment any longer because he was 100 percent recovered. I was considering Ibarras time , and other patients who really need her expertise! However , office staff placed us as discharge essentially putting my son’s care at risk. One of my sons needs asthma refills and this is what I was advised. When trying to get ahold of Ibarra myself I was directed to an office manager who is not available and told by office staff it could take 5 days for a response. This is not realistic and adequate care nor good customer service. Health is not always black and white and office policies triumph common sense adjustments based on patient and doctor relationships that expand for years.

I called to have my kids placed here and they needed to get permission from the office manager; no one ever called me back so I called the next morning and suddenly no one is taking new patients when I was told differently the day before

Dr. Machorro is a kind and very knowledgeable doctor and I was so grateful that she was my daughter’s pediatrician for the past year. As a parent, she always thoroughly explained everything we discussed at our visits and she encouraged questions. The few times my daughter was sick, we were able to schedule a visit for the day of to get her in to the office.
There is room for improvement with regards to wait time, but in my experience that seems to be a problem at many doctor’s offices.

This is the last time I took my children to this clinic. Dr. Machorro had a rude attitude towards my son, I don't know what's wrong with her. I saw this attitude a couple of times in the past, but this one was wrong. I took my daughter too there, but looks like Dr.. Machorro only has this awful attitude towards my son. Never come back.
