I agree with the comments that it's a huge challenge to get anyone to answer the phone I don't recall it ever being like that when I first went there last maybe December however be that as it may once I do answer the phone when you ask someone a question they don't know the answer and they won't transfer you to a department also, they have a new website. The Hilo app for the doctors and whatever, but no one ever looks at it. No one ever answers you. So it's totally useless, just like this department. I'm so glad I'm leaving El Paso. Which I hate and going to a better city that has better options, better doctors better MAs

I agree with the other comments that having any contact via phone with them is a difficult task. I've been hung up on, left on hold for 30 minutes, and was told that I need to call back at 4 (it was 2:55 at the time) because their medical assistant was out and the person on the phone couldn't answer my questions. Wouldn't it be common courtesy to have them call me back? I have also had troubler with the office sending my medications to my pharmacy, and having them authorize referrals for me. It's been a headache. If it wasn't for Dr. Sanchez, it'd give this place one star. Dr. Sanchez is kind, helpful, and listens. I feel so validated when I speak with Dr. Sanchez.
