Yaya's Thai Massage Therapy
“Unmatched Deep Tissue—A Must-Visit for Trade Workers!
As a union HVAC technician, I work long, strenuous hours. With zero time for workouts or self-care, my body gets incredibly exhausted and locked up.
I first found Yaya’s back in 2020 while searching for an authentic, deep massage that could actually reach my most deep-seated, locked muscle tissue. After a long year's worth of manual labor and zero muscle maintenance, my body was under intense duress. Constant lactic acid build-up and severe muscle tension were making my daily life a total struggle, so I finally went back.
Their deep tissue Thai massage is legit.
This isn't the type of treatment you fall asleep during. It is aggressively designed for deep myofascial penetration, melting away stubborn tension, and breaking down lactic acid. Like any business, you might not get the exact same experience every single time. However, even on their worst days, Yaya’s is completely unmatched. The absolute worst experience you could have here would easily be considered the best experience at any other shop.
My therapist this time was Suzy, and she was phenomenal. It is rare for massage therapists to talk to you at all, but a massive strength of Yaya's is that the staff actually communicates. When Suzy hit a problem area, she vocalized it, focused heavily on releasing it, and gave me an active game plan for when I left. She pinpointed exactly where my tension was rooted and showed me what to target moving forward. Because of her dedication, I walked out knowing exactly what to stretch daily. Suzy is definitely getting a much bigger tip next time!
I’ve also noticed the owner, Yaya, has been present a lot more lately and making great staff updates. Yaya herself is incredible—she is more reserved, but her skills speak for themselves.
You're doing a fantastic job, Yaya! My only nudge would be to ensure the rest of the staff copies Suzy's level of communication. When we come in with underlying muscular issues, leaving with that kind of knowledge is a total game-changer.
