Mr. & Mrs. Dr. Black are so wonderful and caring. Can’t say how much we appreciate them over the last several years. Our animals have always been so well taken care of. Thank Town and Country!

I am going to write my experience and you can make your own judgements. About 2 years ago, I brought my maltese in for a growth on her back. i won’t say who, but one of the vets said it was a cyst and they just leave them alone. I kept watching it and it continued to grow. I took her back a year later and was told it was cancer. We did surgery to remove and mentally she was never the same. Almost like dementia. She got pancreatitis a year later and I took her in and they said she needed to stay over night for IV. I agreed and asked if they were giving antibiotics and the vet said they usually don’t give it just let the gut rest. I didn’t like that response but they are vets right? Well she continued to get worse, so the vet said an antibiotic was added ??!! ok. She had to stay through the weekend but did finally improve . She was put on a low fat diet. We did as they asked. She was very skinny and her liver enzymes continued to be high so she was put on medication for that seemed to make her mind worse. Recently, I saw a different vet in that clinict and they kept checking her liver with very expensive bloodwork. I took her in for more bloodwork and addressed my concerns that she had developed a cough. I was told she had a heart murmur and it was maybe her heart or trachea . She said they were too booked to do an x-ray so come back next week. So I scheduled. She continued to worsen and I called and said she was having a problem breathing. The receptionist said I could drop her off. I took her in and I told them I did not want her to die alone in the cage. They said they had an emergency surgery and she wasn’t gonna die in the cage. I knew she was not doing well. The receptionist took her to see a in the back and they said we could take her to the ER if we felt more comfortable. Wait what? So we did. She ended up having bacterial pneumonia and passed away. I will forever wonder if the vet would have just taken the time to do the x-ray when I had her in there a couple days earlier i’f she would have made it. There are 3 vets in that clinic and nobody could see her or do a simple x-ray. Almost 2 weeks later, not one person has called to check on the dog.

Dr. Randag and the team at Town & Country have been such a big help in getting my dogs health in check. Twice now I have seen big improvements/positive results from their quick and accurate diagnostics and treatment plans.

Very nice place. Super clean. Very nice receptionist. Really friendly Nurse and Vet. We had all our questions answered about our puppy's treatment. Town and Country Animal Hospital is about 8 miles from our home but worth the drive.

I came to Town & Country after moving from out of state, hoping to find a good vet for my older dog. While the vet, Taylor, was kind and professional, I won’t be returning due to several concerns.
When the staff insisted on using their thin leash, that literally gagged her, to take her out of the room instead of examining her with me present, my dog panicked. I stood by my dog to help her know she’s safe and to help the staff. Their response of just staring at me and not showing me where they needed my dog felt judgmental as if I was a problem by keeping my dog calm. Communication about what was happening and why she was being taken away was nonexistent. I had to ask after they brought her back.
Costs were not explained clearly beforehand, and their paperwork makes it clear they require full payment at the time of service with no flexibility, which gave the impression that money mattered more than care.
The biggest issue was follow-through. They promised heartworm results within 30 minutes, but I never received a call and only got an email more than 24 hours later solely about heart worm results. They also said I would receive a surgery estimate within 24 hours, yet more than five days later I still haven’t heard back. For a dog with potentially serious health issues, this lack of communication is unacceptable.
The only positive part of the visit was Dr. Taylor herself, who was straightforward and professional. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me with no confidence in the clinic’s care or reliability.

This is a truly wonderful veterinary team. Even when going through the process of saying goodbye to our beloved dog Sunny Dr. Black treated her in her final moments with a level of respect and care I have never seen from another veterinary practice, what in the past has been a cold calloused process he handled with a warmth and respect I will never forget.

Our little chihuahua/terrier mix developed an infection on the side of his face and neck. Dr. Black and his staff got him in the same day even though we were a new patient. ALL the staff were so kind and the office is beautiful. We will return with our other three pets!
