The whole interior of the historic house has been renovated, which is pleasant to see since this place was quite old and not at its best condition. They carry the same bonsai as they always have, the old greenhouse is gone which is a good thing because it was in terrible condition, and it's a good thing to see that overall it's holding the spirit behind this iconic plant and bonsai shop. It is missing more houseplants and large trees like the large fiddle leaf figs they used to have, for example, but hoping that once the greenhouse is finished, they will incorporate more of the plants we all love.

Delighted that Sunshine Miniature Trees at 7118 Greenville Avenue has recently reopened under new ownership and management. Grant, the new Manager, recently assisted me with the purchase of a large specimen plant for indoor use. I can’t say enough about how helpful he was in assisting me with the selection and care instructions. Give the new ”Sunshine” a look if you’re looking for a Bonsai or a specimen plant. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely place!!! Best bonsai specialty store and the workers will answer your questions too! Cannot wait to get back into bonsai. Yes texas summers can make it difficult but we've got haha. Praying for anyone who reads this and is growing bonsai! They take patience but are worth it since they are adorable! I cannot wait to visit again. Lovely place to go alone or with friends! I love how the place is way bigger than how it looks on the outside. Enter this shop and you will fell like you are entering a dreamworld !
