About LA Fitness
LA Fitness offers an outstanding value with a variety of amenities. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment, HIIT by LAF, basketball, group fitness classes, pool, saunas, Kids Klub, and personal training. The staff is friendly and helpful, as noted by customers. The women's locker room is clean, and the sauna is a popular feature. However, some customers have noted that the gym floor is disorganized and poorly maintained, with weights and accessories scattered or missing. The equipment could also use an upgrade, with some machines feeling outdated or overused. During busy times, the gym can become overcrowded and chaotic. Despite these issues, LA Fitness provides a refreshing and enjoyable experience for many of its customers.

The gym floor is disorganized and poorly maintained. Weights are never where they’re supposed to be, and the dumbbell racks aren’t labeled, so you end up wasting time just looking for matching pairs. Cable attachments and other accessories are scattered or missing, and no one seems responsible for keeping things in order.
At other LA Fitness locations, there’s usually staff actively cleaning the gym floor and locker rooms throughout the day. Other locations showers are cleaned twice a day, but at the Mockingbird location, I don't know that I've ever seen them cleaned.

Had been going to the Haskell location for two years then switched to Mockingbird after hearing they remodeled. Gym is much smaller at Mockingbird but they've added equipment and reorganized spaces to make it a better place for my tastes. If only these gyms would install articulating arm cable machines... Lifetime and Cowboys Fit have them.
