I am totally indebted to Dr Potter. I arrived at his doorstep, looking like a circus freak from prior surgery due to breast cancer. Plus, I had a raging infection. Two surgeries later, Dr. Potter has me looking human again without any infection. I cannot thank him enough! It is pretty traumatic to first hear cancer and then to hear that both breasts need to come off but to wake up and see what a surgeon has done to me ...it was a very emotional moment. I even had to look to see if that prior surgeon had an actual MD! Horrible!!! But Dr. Potter has his MD, has extreme talent and is the nicest guy you'll ever want to meet! I wouldn't call him a surgeon; I'd call him a magician! Thank you, thank you thank you!
I was told by other medical professionals that I had the best plastic surgeon for breast reconstruction surgery. So far, my experience with Dr. Potter has been very positive. He listens and answers all of my questions. On one examination, he said he will work his magic on me. Now that gives a woman who had a double mastectomy a lot of hope and encouragement. I had to go the expander route with my reconstruction. It is a long process, but I am very confident that it will be well worth the wait.
