    My longtime nail salon closed so I went to Hillcrest Nails because it is near my house. On the positive side, the place is large and clean, they offer free water/sodas and getting a walk-in service is easy.
    On the negative side, I tried three different techs for a manicure and one for a pedicure. The first manicurist cut my skin so that it bled each time I went to her! Finally, after three times, I asked for another person and she was fine, but her English was so limited that she didn't understand when I tried to talk to her about my nails continually breaking - after a lifetime of strong nails.     The place itself was nice enough. However, I wouldn’t recommend Melinda. She disagreed with the services I wanted and tried, more than once, to push me into a service I didn’t want. Oddly, what I wanted was more expensive…so she was pushing a down-sell. I should have realized that meant she wanted to go home. She proceeded to rush my service resulting in nails of varying lengths and many different shapes - although I asked for almond (a $5 up charge BTW). The shapes were all tilted so they look crooked on my hands; I tried to fix it myself & did the best I could. The paint job was also rushed & appears sloppy to me.     I got a manicure and a pedicure. I was pleased with both results. The vibe was very friendly and I'd definitely go back. VIVY is very friendly and professional. Everyone is very friendly I'd definitely recommend this place
