Love this place!!! I’ve been going there for around 20 years!!! Alessio is a miracle worker and makes this 75-year-old look younger than her years!!! I am there every month for what I call my “fountain of youth” treatment!!! He is truly an artist and a master at what he does!!! No one else knows my hair quite as well as he does. (Well, after all of these years I would hope so…LOL!!!) That said, the other stylists are all very good too. They are very friendly and personable and make me feel right at home each time I go there. I tell Alessio if he ever moves back to Italy, I will be moving there too!!!

I happened to be in the shopping center where Gioia is located and when I saw the Kerastase products in the window I had to step. They were able to take me as a walk-in and Enna (sp? pronounced ē-na) was able to wash & cut my hair.I'm so grateful to have stopped in because the cut was fabulous! Emma was very comfortable & skilled with the Wahl shaver, and texturized my short-do with cuttings, not texturizing scissors; she did and amazing job.I live 3 hours from the salon, but will gladly travel to Dallas monthly for my cut & color from now on. Salon prices are average, $75 for short hair.This is a great find! If you need a stylist, you won't go wrong with Gioia!

Amanda is a consummate professional. Before we start, she always asks if I would like something to drink (as does the staff at the front desk). Amanda remembers how I like my hair cut, and she takes her time to achieve the results I want. She is friendly and communicative.Gioia itself strikes one as a sophisticated, upscale salon, and this is borne out in their social media content. The salon is chic and clean, and the staff is welcoming and professional. My wife has come here for several years for her color and cut, and she looks (even more so) like a Bernini sculpture when she leaves.I highly recommend both Gioia and Amanda.
