Alterations at Nordstrom

The seamstress/woman doing alterations told me that the Nordstrom credit card benefits ($200 in alterations) wouldn’t cover things such as weight loss, however, I told her it was not due to weight loss, but that this was the only size they had on the floor and the sales person told me I could just get it altered with the Nordstrom credit card alterations benefits. Then she said they could not honor this because the item was on sale at the time of purchase.

All and all, the women doing alterations did not carry the same posture as other Nordstrom personnel I’ve worked with in the past.

Prices are much higher than standard rates, and the tailor told me that the only way I was going to fit into a suit was to lose weight. Definitely not the Nordstrom experience I’ve come to expect!
