I booked after seeing the artist’s work on Instagram and was excited, as I’ve had my makeup done many times by different artists and have always had good experiences. Upon arrival, she was kind and welcoming. However, there was no consultation. I was not asked about my preferences, dislikes, allergies, or skin sensitivities, which I found concerning, especially as someone who works in the beauty industry myself.
