“All of the staff is great and encouraging as you work through learning the curriculum. It has also been a great fellowship with adults all learning together. They also manage to help our son with ADHD to work on learning to focus while having fun doing martial arts!“

“I'm an older practitioner of TKD.In my 60's now I started when I was a child and took a long break. When I was coming back, I wanted to get the very best Instructor I could and I looked far and wide. Found Master Kim and he has changed my life. I just achieved my second dan black belt and will not stop until he retires. His method of instruction is very formal but one that has a lot of give so all students can learn. He is a treasure and a gem of the sport, one of the most decorated and beloved by his students and friends alike.“

“This is a kid/toddler friendly martial arts school. Starting from the ages of 4+. The school is well organized and structured. The instructors are very friendly and attentive. The beginners class (Dragons Class) ranges from ages 4-6. It is well designed to provide not only martial arts, but also to teach life lessons in becoming a good person. The classes are fun for the kids. A great way to utilize their energy in a safe environment.Classes are from Monday-Saturday. You attend two 30-minute classes a week during the designated time spots. Classes are separated by age groups and also by skill level. My son started around the age of 4. He was very timid and shy at first. It was a struggle to get him to participate in class, but with the help of the awesome instructor staff he overcome his fear. He definitely enjoys going to classes now, and has shown a ton of improvement since joining 9 months ago.“

“I cannot say enough positive things about PMA Southlake. Instructors Ian, Michael, and Corbin are just phenomenal! They are clearly masterfully skilled in martial arts, and are able to simplify techniques and concepts down to a level where even a beginner such as myself can grasp. They are also extremely patient and dedicated, and it is obvious that they truly want each and every student to grow and improve. Would highly recommend PMA Southlake for anyone interested in learning martial arts!“

“I'm not sure how I missed reviewing HEB Martial Arts; I might be so close that I forgot to review it. It's a family, and the journey started almost eight years back. I came to this facility to have my little one trained, and if I a not wrong, I paid for three months, and two days later, my kid refused to go saying she doesn't like taekwondo. I asked Master Christy to return the money, and without asking anything, she returned all the money. Can you believe this? Trust grew, and here we are, my kid and myself, practicing at this location for almost eight years now, and my kid is now a second-degree blackbelt. Since I am associated for so long, I will have my bias, but I will try to be truthful. Master Christy and the army will try to help you learn, grow, be self-reliant, fit, and train to be a black belt. You learn to protect yourself and, most importantly, learn to be a good human being. There are many hidden gems here, Master Justin, Master Jean, and many more. Master Jean gives motivational, inspirational, and life-changing speeches that will bring positive changes to you. These pearls of wisdom are precious and rare. Overall, there are great things to learn that will help your physical, mental, and overall growth; these learnings should help you academically, your career, and in other places.“

“This is a martial arts academy that focuses on Kajukenbo. José Vargas who runs the school has an excellent balance of encouraging and challenging students to work hard and put forth their best effort. My 11 year old son loves learning here. He started last spring and it has made such a difference in his physical and emotional confidence. They have a time at the end of the kid's class that they talk about a specific character quality for the week and really take the work ethic and lessons from the dojo into their life.“

“We love KTI and I would recommend them to anyone! Master Landers is a great instructor and my son learned so much from her. The owners Master and Mrs. Monroe are very invested in the children and really helped my son to focus more and improve his behavior. My son was in the after school program which is affordable (less than many daycares in the area) and you get a lot more from the program. He was able to participate in the regular classes and excelled, earning several belts in a six month period. There's also a family class available which is awesome. Thank you KTI for everything!“
