My husband and I went in for the first time for an annual eye exam and we are very frustrated about 2 things.1. My husband told the doctor he wanted monthly contacts. Dr Driscoll insisted that daily’s were better and completely disregarded my husband wants and wrote the prescription for daily’s anyway.2. I called to make the appointments and the lady was very nice. She asked if we wore contacts and I said my husband does. I was just anticipating a standard co-pay. Well after the exams we owed $259 for my husbands contact lense exam because it was considered “a level 4 exam” since he has astigmatism. I have been to 2 doctors prior to Dr Driscoll, he listens and I CAN see! I have keratoconus and was fitted with scleral lenses, insurance picked up a lot of the cost. I drove all the way from Little Elm, for the most part the entire office doesn’t wear a mask but I pray,wear my mask, and I’m fully vaccinated. I did not feel unsafe. I think he is worth going to if you really want to see! He has the skill and enjoys his work! He gives you HOPE on better vision
