I wish I could remember all the names of everyone who took care of my dog this weekend during an emergency pyometra surgery. I know there was Dr Pankowski Dr Yoder and Dr Taylor and so many others who contributed to Mila’s care. I was updated several times a day with patience, concern and compassion on how my my fur baby was doing. I had no doubt in my mind that she was getting the best care possible with this team. Although this procedure was way over my personal budget, it was worth every penny for the tender care she received. They did their best to keep close to the estimate but there were some complications. I’m so glad I brought her there and I’m so glad to have my dog home recovering well.

    Bedside manners could be evaluated.
Consult on all negative possibilities, all verbal, nothing documented, and my pup is now gone.
Had to drive over an hour to location where she is having services.
As we spend time ....final moments....we are being shown images that are killing her.
Timing really needs improvement and oncology didn't even take time after we are saying goodbye

We brought our dog in for an X-ray reexamination with a 10:30 AM appointment. It’s been 4+ hours, and we still haven’t heard from a doctor. At this point, I’m not sure if we’re waiting for a veterinarian or for the next solar eclipse.

Meanwhile, people with appointments after us have already been seen and discharged. So your scheduling system isn’t “first come, first served” or “appointment-based” — it’s more like spin-the-wheel triage, where the prize is basic customer service.

What really takes this from “busy day” to “professional disrespect” is the zero proactive communication. No updates. No time estimate. No “we’re running behind.” Just silence — the kind of silence you usually get when a place has decided you don’t matter because you already paid and you’re already stuck there.

We drove 4 hours to get here and have another 4 hours back. We told the receiving assistant right away that we had urgency and needed to leave early. That information apparently got placed into a secure facility where no employee is allowed to access it.

We chose this hospital because our dog had surgery here and we wanted continuity of care. We even gave it a second visit for the recheck. That’s on us. This is the last time we’re visiting.

I’m sure the medical team may be capable — but the operations, scheduling, and communication are running like a group project where nobody showed up except the printer that jams.

If you’re considering coming here: bring snacks, a phone charger, a sleeping bag, and the will to watch multiple pets come and go while you become part of the furniture. The wait isn’t the issue — it’s being treated like your time has no value and your dog is just another number in the lobby aquarium.

Fix this: communicate delays, honor appointment order (or explain why you can’t), and stop making clients beg for basic updates.

Because “10:30 AM appointment” shouldn’t mean “we’ll get to you sometime before your dog’s next birthday.”

As a last resort, fire your scheduling and incompetent doctors to replace them with those with basic scheduling competence.

They where so genuine and helpful with our insanely sad need to put down our best friend. May God bless those people!

    Literally let my dog die
They gave zero empathy, refused to honor the appointment time despite another doctor promising us.

I've never had such great service. The care was the best, as was the service. The communication was great. I couldn't belive how reasonable the cost was too. It was more than worth it to bring my dog here from Georgia. I can't say enough good about this place.
