The entire practice is amazing, particularly Bailey, Ella, Erin, Ashton, and all the other vet techs who are nothing but warm, patient, and attentive to my dogs. I feel as if I am the only patient at Summit, with the level of care and follow up that is provided to me and my dogs. Dr. Nelson is the most exceptional vet I have had the pleasure of seeing across multiple states. Her breadth of knowledge is vast, and she always provides me additional reading information on the diagnosis. She never pushes unnecessary tests or medications. Additionally, she has worked me into her busy schedule, come in on a day off, or stayed late when an emergency has popped up with both of my dogs on multiple occasions. Moreover, her suture and surgical skills are outstanding. I joked she should have gone into plastics, as she sutured my German Shepherd Dog back together with zero scarring, after he severely injured himself. This vet practice operates with an abundance of caution and expertise that is hard to find. Summit staff are always a phone call or text away day or night, which is very reassuring when your dog is recovering from surgery or has not been feeling well. But most importantly, my dogs are thriving because of Dr. Nelson’s care. For that and all the reasons mentioned above, I will never take my dogs anywhere else in College Station or Bryan.
Dr Richards and her staff are friendly, approachable, and do an amazing job of explaining options for care. Our puppy needed unexpected surgery and the team took wonderful care of her. I would highly recommend this practice.
