Second Chance Resale is a unique thrift store that supports local causes, including Twin Cities Mission. The store offers a great selection of housewares, kitchen items, and appliances at affordable prices. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. While the store may not have a wide range of vintage clothing or trendy items, it's a great place to find essential items for those in need. The store is well-organized, and prices are clearly marked. Customers can expect to find some great deals, and the staff is happy to assist with any questions.
Clean, smelled pretty decent, and tidy store. The pricing system for clothes is weird; they price it based on condition so you have no idea if it’s going to be $3 or $7, and it’s up to the cashier to determine the price (this is the worst pricing system I’ve ever seen). I understand their funds support a mission, but their pricing is very high on most household items as well.
Great place to shop, but when making donations most of the people collecting tend to be rude and unhelpful (there have been a few exceptions). I know some of this is because a lot of the helpers are there to get volunteer hours. They could do with a little training on customer service because the only reason you are in business is because of the community donations.
This is a truly local charity thrift store that supports Twin City Missions. Donations are sold locally. Funds go into local BCS charities: Phoebe's House (now Domestic Violence Services, Doug Weldon Shelter for Hope for homeless and displaced people, and Star Children's Services. They are committed to helping our communities locally. Items can be hit or miss. But I've found some great deals.
