Yasmin is the only person I trust with my hair. I had an awful experience earlier this year with an influencer-loved salon in Houston and they butchered my hair and tried to invalidate my experience. (I would go so far as to say the owner was gaslighting me). It also butchered my self esteem and I was afraid to go anywhere else. I made the drive to see Yasmin since I'm no longer in the BCS area and because I didn't some adjustments for a wedding coming up. Not only is she just an awesome person to chat with, she made me feel validated in that bad experience I last had by thoughtfully explaining how what they did translated to my hair type. I have been to this salon twice now, and had a great experience both times! I had an updo done the first time, and a trim with long layers the second time! I’m really happy with how my hair came out! The salon also has a homey feel that I loved!
