After using Stonepoint driving school for my daughter years ago I came on to Google to register my son to take driving lessons with her & I was surprised to see all these bad reviews. So I am here to share that my daughter was very happy with her experience. Including the classroom teaching as well. My daughter says she gives good compliments but also lets you know what you’re doing wrong. She also liked the examples she would show using small toy cars for certain driving situations. Ms Stone gives honest feedback and I feel that’s what is needed when you’re learning such an important task as driving.

Training a student to drive a car lawfully and safely is very different than simply allowing the student to move the car from one point to another. We train so that students are confident on their skills, knowledgeable of the traffic laws, proper control of the turning maneuver , driving at the proper speed, safe four-step lane changes, and acing the parallel parking maneuver. The majority of students are scoring in the 90s on their DPS road exam. For students who have anxiety of driving we keep in a parking lot until they become less fearful and more confident in their car control skills.

5 stars ! Janet is a great instructor. She taught both of my sons and both passed their driving test on the first try. She even helped us with an insurance claim for my son. I can’t thank her enough.
