I received a letter from the water company that my meter reading was really high. I checked the usual suspects and determined it wasn't anything inside the house. Called Ben Franklin, and they sent someone out the next day, and they found and fixed the issue - which involved digging out the shut off and pressure valve (which had failed) and rebuilding the section of pipe/fittings. Outstanding job, including cutting back the tree roots that could contribute to further problems. Timothy was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions, and explain what happened, and what he was doing. I called the office at 7:30am with no hot water. They answered and Mickey came to assess my heater by 10am. It was 27 years old Hot water heater from 1998 😳 It was time. He was very professional and helpful. He gave me the quote, I paid 50% and then Scott and Dave came later and installed it in the afternoon. They worked hard since it was an attic unit. The new unit got a dent but should not effect it’s functions. I was glad Benjamin Franklin plumbing were prompt and professional.
