“i just did my last lesson at desoto driving school today, and my driving instructor was Ms Brenda. she was absolutely wonderful. she was very nice and taught me all of the rules of the road and the best thing especially she thought me how to parallel park almost perfectly. we had great conversations and overall it was just a great learning experience with her and desoto driving school.“

“I took my 17 year old daughter to the red oak driving school to take her driving test which she passed. Then I paid an extra $30, on top of the $70 I paid for the test, to 'skip the line' as they call it. That is so that we wouldn't have to go to the DPS to get her actual license. They are supposed to upload all of the information to the state then the state would email my daughter her temporary driver's license while the hard copy would be mailed to her in less than two weeks. Well, the next day I had to go all of the way back to the driving school because they needed an envelope they had given me. Five and a half weeks later still no email from state or license. NOTHING! I went to the DPS office here in Waxahachie and they told me that the information was not filed correctly and that if I hadn't have gone in my daughter would have never received her license. Not only have I wasted time and effort trying to get my daughter her license she went from being very excited very depressed because she still couldn't drive. Of course, I informed the owner of this school and finally he said that he would issue me a refund for the $30 while still saying that they had done everything correctly. A week and a half later now I have contact the owner again because I have not received the promised refund and he said that I have to go back to the school to get the refund in person. He didn't say that a week and a half ago so why now? Seems easy enough to him I guess for me to take more time out of my day to drive back to red oak but my time is more valuable than that and I'm tired of getting treated like this by him. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this business.“
