Carla was amazing in helping me get to a comfortable place with the new dog I had rescued. I was struggling to walk him on a leash because he pulled aggressively. Now he calmly walks and doesn’t pull on the leash. He also listens well now, and is constantly engaged with me, which makes it easy to teach him new tricks and rules. Training him myself after his time with her has been effortless because of the foundation she provided him and me to be successful in cohabitating together. It’s difficult to remember what life with my husky, Lily, was like before Carla, because now it is sweet and fun; before Carla it certainly wasn’t fun. It’s also difficult to put into words the magic that is Carla. She not only knows how to read Lily, she knows how to read me. She could see the tension in my shoulders and the death grip I had on Lily’s leash. She taught me how to relax and enjoy our walks together. Working with Carla was a transformative experience! It was a night and day difference after only one class where my fast brained pup was loose leash walking. At our second class, she was off leash and keeping a heel! Carla clearly has experience, but the beauty of working with her is how she can reach us, her clients, so that we can best show up for our dogs. Highly recommend working with her and taking her classes.
