The hairstylist, Alica Shankle, that rents out a chair here has been doing my hair since I was little! She has always done an excellent job and created styles that i love and make me feel confident. She is very good at working with multiple hair types (i know because i have really curly hair). I would totally recommend her and The Strand!
Ginger, the owner, has been working her magic on my hair for decades at this point. I've lived in other states and still hold out to come back to her. I've trusted her with dance updos when I was in grade school, with major, life-altering haircuts, and she's kept the ever evolving joys and sorrows I've shared with her over the years near and dear to her heart. She is truly a treasure of a person and a stylist and I will go trust her with my hair for as long as she will have me!
Love this place, friendly and helpful! I go in with crazy ideas, cuts, and colors. They work together to make it happen. Even though they rent chairs they help each other. Being going for years and will keep going.
