The maintenance session took about two hours, which seemed appropriate for a thorough check-up of both the heating and cooling units. Coordinating with building management beforehand was necessary, and the technician efficiently managed that process alongside conducting routine inspections and changing the filters.
Given the number of times I've had issues with this old A/C system, I wanted to share that the technician needed just an hour to identify a faulty capacitor as the culprit and replace it. It's been a week now with no problems, and I'm relieved the fix is holding up well.
The quote for portable A/C services was fair, and once building management approved the work, the technician arrived promptly and completed the setup in just under an hour. He was thorough in ensuring everything functioned correctly before leaving, which I appreciated since coordinating access with management can be challenging.
