“I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Melissa at $25 Dollar Optical. She is absolutely amazing friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind. From the moment you walk in, Melissa makes you feel welcomed and valued. She takes her time, answers questions thoroughly, and truly cares about helping customers make the right choice. Her customer service alone is the reason I continue to come back.

However, I have to be honest about another experience. The lady who usually sits to the left of Melissa and often wears a leopard cardigan is consistently rude. She never smiles, never engages with customers, and comes off as uninterested and unapproachable every single visit. It’s uncomfortable and disappointing, especially when you’re spending your hard-earned money.

It’s 2026 there’s no reason to tolerate poor customer service. Businesses thrive on how customers are treated, and while Melissa is a true asset to this location, the negative attitude of the other employee can easily push customers away.

Melissa deserves recognition, appreciation, and a raise because she represents what great customer service should look like.“
