The staff are described as kind, attentive, and miracle workers who make patients feel truly seen and heard. They offer diagnosis and treatment, utilizing doctors, science, and medicine. The facility has rules and provides group activities. For many, it results in feeling practically cured or doing a lot better, especially after a bad experience elsewhere. The staff stays in touch with families, giving daily updates. While the experience is noted as not perfect, multiple reviewers would highly recommend the center and send a loved one there in a heartbeat, stating it is a place to trust for help.
I was here twice. Once being 14, the 2nd time at 16. They’re absolutely terrible on the adolescent unit. Horrible. There’s this one lady there that goes by Ms. T, and she treats us like dog shit. They fail to listen and don’t even attempt to help. We have to sit in a room all day staring at a tv, then sit in our room for hours for “down time,” and if we so much as leave the day room to go to our room s when we need space, they’ll threaten to extend your stay. If I could this place negative I would. Don’t ever send a loved one there, you’ll leave angry for them. They don’t think I’m serious, from the nurses to the nps to the drs but I’m reporting their licenses. Incompetent, constant miscommunication. The lady who is the Dr/NP just makes up stuff that isn’t even true or happen. Weird, unprofessional. I pray for anyone who gets sent there unwillingly
I was admitted, as a military member seeking aid, and while I was getting my blood drawn one of the staff members tried to sexually take advantage of me. Stood my ground, made a report and had to get out of there. Would not recommend at all. Some of the staff are kind, while others have horrible attitudes.
