This review is exclusively for Sofia at the hair salon. I’ve gotten haircuts at high end places ($150+) and none have turned out to look as good as how Sofia cut my hair. She sets the example for what a hairstylist should be like. I told her I wanted to keep my length, add some body and movement with layers to my hair, and add some face framing pieces to the front and Sofia listened and delivered. She evened out my length, gave my hair life and volume, and the layers are flowy and perfectly blended. I am so happy that she didn’t cut my side bangs too short to start with. I had a great experience at the Ulta in Bastrop, Texas today. I went in looking for a new perfume and a moisturizer with retinol. Lindsey and Ana were incredibly helpful and patient while I tried several fragrances based on my very vague descriptions. I ended up finding one I love, and both of them made the process fun instead of overwhelming.
Later, I went on a mission to find a moisturizer with retinol, and Donna jumped in to help me track one down. She was just as helpful and friendly.

I got my eyebrows professionally done for the first time in 13 years by Breanna. I absolutely love them and I couldn’t believe I could have beautiful eyebrows like that! Like seriously, I have modeling eyebrows now. Breanna is great, so sweet, and down to earth. Second, after my eyebrows, I got my hair cut by Amy and my hair wasn’t an easy case, it had been two years since cut. She was the first person to ever study my hair and notice I was thinner on one side of my head than the other. She asked me questions and suggested cuts.
