This review is exclusively for Sofia at the hair salon. I’ve gotten haircuts at high end places ($150+) and none have turned out to look as good as how Sofia cut my hair. She sets the example for what a hairstylist should be like. I told her I wanted to keep my length, add some body and movement with layers to my hair, and add some face framing pieces to the front and Sofia listened and delivered. I had a great experience at the Ulta in Bastrop, Texas today. I went in looking for a new perfume and a moisturizer with retinol. Lindsey and Ana were incredibly helpful and patient while I tried several fragrances based on my very vague descriptions. I ended up finding one I love, and both of them made the process fun instead of overwhelming.
Later, I went on a mission to find a moisturizer with retinol, and Donna jumped in to help me track one down. She was just as helpful and friendly.
