There aren’t enough stars for me to leave Ilse! She loves what she does and it comes through so beautifully. In the short week-long trip I took to Austin for work, I saw Ilse once and then had to return for a second trip with my friend. Such good energy. Ilse is gifted beyond belief and takes her time to get to know you and your body from the moment you walk in. I am leaving Austin feeling like an entirely new person. It was such a unique and healing experience, unlike any other I’ve had before. I cannot give her enough praise! She has set an exceedingly high bar and I am now determined to make an annual pilgrimage to Austin to see her. I've been going to Ilse for over a year now and every massage has consistently been fantastic. She's always asked about my problem areas, takes care to address any concerns with my body that I have, and checks in with me throughout the massage to make sure everything's alright. Never once have I felt rushed, and I always leave feeling infinitely better. Having a massage therapist who really cares and wants the best for who she's working on makes all the difference. A fun addition is that she always has awesome music playing -- which is less distracting than the stuff they play at major spas. Plus, since reopening after lockdown, the precautions Ilse has taken has made be feel very safe to schedule an appointment. If you're looking for a new place to get a massage with someone who goes so far out of their way to make you comfortable and address your needs, look no further than Ilse.
This review is overdue. I was looking for a new therapist that offered a relaxing environment, amazing touch, intuition, and kindness. Ilse matched that perfectly. I loved how she took the time to really understand my needs. I also liked that I wasn't rushed out of her space. I had been going to Oak Haven, which was hit or miss, but not anymore. I found my new therapist and look forward to booking with her again soon.
