I cannot recommend a facial with Regan highly enough. She is the VERY best. I was so self conscious about my skin but she made me feel so comfortable and really took the time to help me figure out what was causing my dry patches and trouble shoot to tend to the problems I've been having with my skin. She is such a pro and will give you a service that feels great at the time and also gives you results that last. Go see her!!

Shoutout to Averie at Urban Betty 38th for completely transforming me with ktip extensions. I had really fine/damaged/no length in the front hair (mullet vibes) and she GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK! 3.5 hours for the install. She was quick, very real and professional about the aftercare, and she just had a good vibe! I'm so obsessed, if you have bad hair and you want to look HOT go see Averie for your mermaid hair

I had a dermaplaning and facial with Regan, and I am so glad I did because my skin is definitely way more clear, smooth, and soft. She also gives fantastic facial massages that will make you want to come back every week!

Oh my god. Molly is the coolest and most talented hair dresser ever. Even with sun poisoning she created art on my head. Absolutely stunning I highly recommend going to Molly for highlights and balayage

I almost never write reviews, especially negative ones (I think this may be my first one), however I feel this is a special case. I first want to say that this review has nothing to do with the stylist’s there - the stylists are great, however, the customer service team is extremely rude. I’ve been going to UB since 2017 (since college), and unfortunately will not be going back simply because of the attitude I received when on the phone with the customer service team.
I had an appointment scheduled for a 5pm haircut. I confirmed the appointment the day before via text message, but I misread the confirmation and thought it said 5:30pm. I’m completely owning up to the fact that it was my mistake in misreading the appointment time. I was on my way to the salon (I live at most 10 minutes away) when they called to inform me that since I missed the appointment, they’ll need to charge for the full service in order to get another appointment scheduled.
I let them know that I must’ve misread the appointment confirmation and thought it was at 5:30. I then asked (in a very confused state) that I confirmed the appointment the day before, and if I didn’t show up, why didn’t they call me at the 10 minute mark to see if I was on my way or still planning to show up? Again, I’m completely owning the fact that I misread the appointment time on my end (and I said that to them). But I’m human and make mistakes. When I asked that question I was met with a super rude response, with attitude about how they wait 15 minutes, and if no one shows up, they cancel the appointment - and that it’s not their responsibility to make sure I show up to my appointment.
I’m not saying that I need hand holding, but I feel like calling to check in is common for other establishments (and even my place of work, where I also am in customer service) and I was more than anything just confused why that didn’t happen here.
I don’t want to be a *Karen* or anything - but, the attitude and belittling I experienced while on the phone was really disheartening. I won’t name the specific stylist that I see, but, if they ask why I haven’t rescheduled an appointment with them the answer is thanks to the customer service team - they made them lose a client.
Lastly, UB said they would charge the full service amount in order to get an appointment rescheduled (I have the voicemail transcription verifying this on my phone). I did not reschedule, yet they still charged me (they wasted no time in sending the receipt my way after that phone call :) ).
Like I said earlier - the stylists at UB are great and this is not a reflection on them. But the customer service team is not.
