I just moved to Austin, had a terrible experience with another barber. Found Tie nearby, asked if he could do emergency repair. He was solo in the shop and booked all day, but he squeezed me in regardless (I'm pretty sure he cut into his lunch break for me).
While I waited, I witnessed him give the cleanest cut to this adorable kid. Tie made his client (maybe 4 or 5 years old) feel comfortable in the chair while he masterfully executed his craft. Little man walked out of there wearing a huge smile on his face, absolutely bursting with confidence – it was genuinely a beautiful interaction to see.
I was from out of town and had found this shop on Google and decided to go in since it had good reviews. Tie did not let me down one of the best haircuts I've gotten in a long time. The shop was clean and he was very professional and knowledgeable. It's definitely the only barbershop I'm going to when in Austin!
