This place is kinda hard to find. Right behind Phoenicia on Burnet. Their student massage therapists are surprisingly great! Like for only $55 you are getting a massage you’d get for $120+ anywhere else. They really do a great job. Go and experience it for yourself!

I had my 1st massage yesterday 1/16/2026 & I have already recommended it to several people as soon as I was finished. Erica did a really great job! I was very relaxed once finished. She was very nice, professional & hit my areas of concern perfectly. My level of pressure was discussed & she asked how that was throuought and did great with it. My only caveat was the school is North & I am located in South Austin so after being Uber relaxed, I had to fight Friday evening traffic to get back South. But that's not the school's fault (though I wish they had a school closer to me) & certainly not Erica's. She did great & the affordability for a full hour of full body massage can't be beat! Thank You! I will definitely be returning!!

Whatever my presenting issues are, they are addressed specifically, with kindness and competence. There's a level of professional care I've come to appreciate so much over the past year.

I’ve fallen asleep every time I come get a massage here. The environment very peaceful, and the staff always kind and welcoming.

Coming from a former student I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this school for anybody seeking to be a massage therapist. It’s an unethical place the director Mark don’t care about nobody, he’s a business man. They are only out to get you signed for a contract that they can breach at any time, because they will make up their own story & label you things as combative if need be. You will be held responsible to pay your tuition in full, upon completion or not! Instructors I worked with are not so knowledgeable or willing to help. I enrolled twice first I had an instructor Crystal which is no longer there.
I got unintentionally injured by classmate when we were practicing on each-other I let TLC employee know of my discomfort immediately, but obvious pain & throbbing were intense later that evening. I reached out to my instructor for help explained I was in pain, she read my message said nothing.
I told her Thank you for ignoring my message. She replied with she wasn’t obligated to respond to my messages after hours. Chats were being replied through a chat called groupme for a lot less. Guess I just wasn’t of importance to her.
When I became a liability to them, they treated me as such. I told the director Mark I didn’t have insurance he responded, “Well if someone gets injured at Walmart they don’t pay for your medical bills right away they reimburse you.”
Proceeded to hand me list affordable clinics for non insured. Did not offer assistance or file claim through the insurance obtained by every student upon enrollment. I couldn’t perform the body work due to my injury & I withdrew.
I enrolled again months later, because I had already made financial & personal commitment.
My second instructor Sunny, one evening after class had ended I questioned her teaching methods I asked why she wasn’t showing us the new protocol prior to making us do the body work it was an introduction to Orthopedic class she responded “I don’t have time!” we’re here exact words.
I told her that’s why we all paid for the course to learn.
I sent an email that evening to TLC admin informing them of my experience.
However, so did Sunny she filed a false complaint against me.
They did not believe me although the whole class is my witness the list of events she filed against me were completely false when I asked to confirm these events with anybody who was present. I was told they were not going to do that.
I was required to sign disciplinary action form I appealed it they responded within 30 mins of my appeal denied it.
My next time in class we were asked to work with the same partner as the previous class. I performed body work on my classmate from previous class as instructed. When it came time to receive body work my instructor told me she was working on me today. I felt SO uncomfortable knowing had just lied on me.
I remember crying on the table I did not feel safe whatsoever. I felt a moment of power differential she was abusing her position in authority & intimidating me. Disgusting feeling honestly I mentioned this in my appeal TLC directors did nothing I did not go back.
When I reached out about finishing the program with a new instructor they denied me & put my payments on my credit for delinquent. Eric who handles financial said he couldn’t do nothing for me when I asked for help in lowering my payments of my remaining balance. As long as I can’t pay what’s owed up front they will keep tagging on late fees even though I’m attempting to to fulfill my financial obligations if they would just work with me. They sent an e-mail cease & desist. Take what you will, but I just paid about 8 grand for bogus program don’t let that be you!

Massage therapist did a great job: listened to my needs and spent extra attention to my problem areas. The facility was very clean, organized, and well run.

The environment was clean, open and perfect lighting.
    Rachel was great!
Although maybe using warm towels at the end of the sessions to wipe off the oil/lotion might be a perk. But understand if not able to do so
