I can't lie; originally, I chose Dr Van Wicklen as my dentist because it was walking distance from my apartment, and I tend to have frequent dental emergencies. The fact that I'm staying with the practice even after moving a 25 minute drive away speaks volumes. Everyone on staff is so kind, professional, and still personable. It's not a super fun thing to take care of but they always make it as quick and painless as possible. As far as I'm concerned, this team is the best in Austin. You can trust your smile with them.

Dentist and dental staff are great. Office staff needs training. I scheduled an appointment for me and my wife months in advance for our exam and cleaning. When I called to set the appointment I made it for the same day for me and my wife since we only have 1 car. The week of our appointments they cancelled both of our appointments and scheduled us on separate days in the future. I called back and told them again we need to go together. They told me it be months out in order for them to schedule it that way. Then I received a call back saying that they will forward my information to another dentist if needed. We been going there for over 4 years.

Dr Van Wicklen is an excellent dentist. My primary dentist is in Asheville, NC. I had an infrequent pain in my upper left when I saw them in early fall. When the pain intensified here in late fall, I went to Dr. Van Wicklen for a second opinion. He identified a very old filling which he replaced and observed that I grind my teeth. He and his assistant provided me with the right repairs. His office administrator is very professional. I have not had any problems since. MarIlya Halpin
