A newly-developed area in downtown Austin, the Seaholm Power Plant now houses great shops, trendy apartment/condo residences, as well as restaurants. The Lady Bird Lake and trail activities is just nearby. Just good to hang out but very expensive to live here. Everything's new.

I love how the City of Austin (or whatever developer) preserved and upgraded this old power station in to retail space. Seaholm Power is conveniently located in downtown with easy pedestrian access. There is also a decent assortment of stores. Stop by if you find yourself in the area.

Very important building in the area! This whole place is cool because it provides the electric options outside the front doors. For example, there are solar-powered outlets that are public and available in the courtyard area.
