Absolutely the best experience I've ever had in a barber shop. Rudy does not treat you like any old customer, but a client who deserves his full attention, and it really shows in his work. He works to understand what you want out of your haircut, versus other barbers who just ask what length and number you want on the sides. I would recommend them to anyone who looking for a barber in the Austin area. Regarding covid procedures, a mask is required during the entire appointment, and the barbers wear one as well. I was Rudy's customer for roughly two years and really appreciated the great service and professionalism. I don't keep up with the latest fashion trends, but Rudy would always walk me through what would look great and I always received compliments for my haircuts from friends and family. Unfortunately I moved out of town otherwise would keep going back to Rudy.

Rudy Baldwin seriously knows what he is doing. I had been getting my hair cut the same way for years, and it always looked alright. When I came to Rudy and told him what I wanted, he told me he thought it was a bad idea and explained why. It was definitely a bit tense, because I've never gotten pushback from a barber before. But here's the thing: he gave me the best haircut I've ever had. I've gotten tons of compliments, and after living in Austin for 6 years I feel like I've finally found my barber. Come in with an open mind and you will walk out with a killer haircut.
