Such a kind and amazing tailor! I used to get my high school prom dresses altered here and I just came by today to have a button repaired on a new favorite dress. He fixed it right then and there! Will keep coming back!

I had previously tried a few alterations people since moving to Austin in 2021, and they've either closed or did sub par work. So when I decided to try Olivo's, I kept my fingers crossed. I brought in three fairly expensive items, a tunic and 2 dresses, which needed hemming and I was very specific on how much I wanted shortened and that I wanted the identical kind of hem as was currently on them. Olivia told me it would be 2-1/2 weeks because it was prom season and he was very busy, but that was fine because I wasn't in a rush. The end result was well worth the wait...perfection! I've been sewing my entire life and might have done it myself except my sewing machine is in storage, but I have to say that the quality of his work was superior to any I've ever had done. My items were ready in the day promised (not a day before, lol) and the price was perhaps on the higher end but I considered it reasonable given the quality of his work and how much time I knew it likely took. As long as he's still doing alterations, I won't be going to anyone else.

The service was absolutely excellent. I was very pleased with the result and the value for the money could not have been better. I brought in two suits on which the moths had managed to do serious damage. One was plainly beyond repair and Mr. Oliva let me know it right away. He repaired the other in such a way that it was very hard to see any previous damage at all. I'm truly grateful as the suit has great sentimental value.
