I am writing to file a complaint regarding the experience my mother had at your Domain location this afternoon. The receipt lists the name as AUD.
My mother visited the salon to get an estimate for a haircut, color, and highlights. She was told the cost would be $350 and that she did not need an appointment since walk-ins were welcome. Based on this, she agreed to the service and got settled in.
Her hair was cut, colored, and toned, but while in the chair she was told that highlights could not be completed because the salon closes at 6 p.m. This was extremely upsetting. If there was not enough time to complete all of the agreed services, she should have been informed at the beginning and given the choice to either reschedule or proceed differently.
When she asked if she could return the next day to complete the highlights, she was told that the entire process would need to be redone, which is unreasonable and unprofessional. She left very upset, especially as this was meant to be part of her birthday weekend.
We paid a significant amount of money expecting a full service, and instead received incomplete results and poor communication. This feels unfair and unacceptable. Was my mother discriminated against?

I originally had an appointment for color and cut with a hairstylist at The Domain location and was super disappointed. Luckily, I went to another stylist there to fix my hair named Lauren Laguna. And she made me so happy! She took the time to give me the color I wanted, the cut I wanted and she is amazing! I recommend her to anyone who wants their hair to look great.
