I want to commend Ground & Garden for a fantastic job they did, with their foreman Eric Kocian, in getting our property ready to put on the market with a yard overhaul/Spring cleanup. It was a big project (an acre property) that had tight timing constraints. Eric jumped in and got going immediately. He met with me at the property for a walk through of the project. He put together a very professional proposal, with clear, point-by-point items and photographs of each of the major aspects. The cost was at first a bit higher than I had anticipated and he worked with me to knock off a little bit without altering the overall project impact. And, he got the crew going... read full review
We have been going through the design and bid process with Ground & Garden for about the last 5 weeks, and it has thus far been straightforward, engaging, and productive. In particular, we have been primarily working with Alex Hansen, who has been highly communicative and receptive to the (sometimes competing!) design ideas from me and my wife.
We contacted two design/build companies for our backyard project when we began this process, and Ground & Garden's process by far was the most commonsense and reasonable of the two, with the costs and steps explained very clearly upfront. I can’t say enough great things about this landscaping company! I’ve used them multiple times for both large and small projects, and every single time they’ve exceeded expectations. The quality of their work is outstanding — from design to execution, everything is thoughtfully done and beautifully finished.
A special shoutout to Kate, the project manager, who is an absolute rockstar. She’s professional, responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about getting every detail just right.
