I recently had Sean and his crew come out to do a fairly extensive amount of work, including cutting away some live oaks that had grown and begun making contact with the roof of the house, as well as do some shaded fire-break work to several cedars on the property. His crew arrived, let me know they were ready to go, and immediately got to work. Sean arrived shortly after they began, and we walked the property together. He was both (i) incredibly knowledgeable (as one might expect from an expert arborist), and (ii) friendly, professional, and flexible.

I obtained five quotes for this project—two on the low end and three significantly higher, with the highest nearly three times the lowest. I ultimately selected the highest bid, Good Guys, and I would make the same decision again without hesitation.
The scope of work included removal of one very large Cedar Elm, removal of one side of two bifurcated Cedar Elms, additional pruning, grinding of one stump, and complete cleanup and haul-away. The original six-person crew was supplemented by three additional workers, and the entire job (excluding stump grinding) was completed in just 2½ hours. I would highly recommend Rios and Sons. I needed a very large tree cut down in a tricky spot in my backyard. Not only did they complete the work perfectly but their communication and punctuality was top notch!
