Dr. Maureen Alexander

Dr. Alexander is one of the few doctors in ANY PROFESSION in Austin who can't say "no" to walk-ins. If you have an appointment with her and some "emergency" or very urgent walk-in appears while you're in the waiting room, be prepared to take a back seat. This is not to suggest that the status of your own reason is suddenly downgraded. To be able to say that this wonderful PERSON is also a doctor -- among the very tops in her profession -- is to be very lucky. There aren't enough nice things I can say about Dr. Alexander. I feel literally honored to have her as my eye doctor. If you have to wait a little longer for your appointment just consider that she is going to take the same amount of extra time with you when it's your turn rather than rush you to the pay window so that she can hurry in the next feed, or to say, "Be careful what you wish for; you may get it," in which case you might want to look for a less conscientious doctor. There are plenty.

Poor front desk communication. Called to schedule a check up. Patient for over 10 years. Voicemail message says leave a message and the office will call you back. Left two voicemail messages and haven't heard from Dr A's office. I like Dr Alexander tho. She is down to business and doesnt waste time with small talk.
