Based on reviews, Dance Xplosion - DXP1 is a premier dance studio in South Austin for all ages. The company is very organized and good with email communications. The teachers are amazing, dedicated, and well trained with technique and fun. They truly care and pay special attention to each child and their unique gifts and needs. The studio not only understands but also teaches proper body mechanics, which has earned them an awesome reputation in the area. Dance Xplosion is great for both the casual dancer and the competitive dancer, offering a variety of classes that make children feel good about themselves and their abilities. The technique taught to students is impressive, with teachers calling out technical names for steps. The studio structures their recitals in multiple 1-hour performances over a few days, which are well communicated and a reasonable length. The summer dance camps are worth every single penny. With excellent customer service and a very professional atmosphere, this studio is highly recommended.
Just wanted to let you know that we’re at Airrosti for Stella’s PT session, and they had nothing but good things to say about DXP. The therapist repeatedly remarked how y’all not only understand but also teach the kids proper body mechanics which not all studios do. I know I see it as a mom and a healthcare professional, but it’s nice to hear that you have such an awesome reputation in the area.

My daughters have been dancing here for 2 years now and we still absolutely love it! The company is very organized and good with email communications. The summer dance camps are worth every single penny because my kids have a blast! Ever teacher has been amazing but a special shout out to Ms. Brooke. Ms.Brooke truly cares and pays special attention to each child and their unique gifts and needs. Thanks Dance Xplosion!
I've had two children attend this studio. One child did a couple of classes for fun and exercise. My other kid wanted to dance more seriously and joined their company team. I think this studio is great for both scenarios - the cusual dancer and the competitive dancer. They offer a variety of classes and make the children feel good about themselves and their abilities.
