About Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids - Sunset Valley
Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids aims to create a caring environment where both children and parents feel comfortable. Their experienced stylists are skilled in cutting hair for all children, including those with special needs. The salon understands that not all children enjoy getting their haircut, so they do their best to make the experience fun and memorable. The salon features vehicle-shaped chairs, including a pink car, and individual TV screens to keep children entertained during their visit. Customers have praised the staff for their patience, expertise, and attention to detail, noting the toddler-friendly atmosphere. Many families appreciate how the staff go above and beyond to make children feel safe and happy, helping kids progressively get less scared of haircuts. For instance, one parent expressed gratitude for the stylists' willingness to accommodate specific requests, helping to create a comfortable experience. The colorful environment, complete with toys and entertainment, helps distract kids and makes the haircut experience enjoyable. However, some customers feel that the presence of screens for entertainment might not be the best for children’s development. Overall, Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids is celebrated as a top choice for a fun, safe, and professional haircut experience for children, with many looking forward to returning.
I always get nervous about taking my daughter to new places because she’s special needs (non-verbal & non-mobile) but the stylists there made me and my daughter feel comfortable and they were willing to work with my requests and made sure the service was completed to my liking.
Overall it was great.
Loved Adriana.
I am originally from Spain, and I’m fluent in Spanish, but felt a little weird to hear 2 of the hair dressers speaking Spanish all the time. As in, lack of inclusivity in the environment.
Also, didn’t love the fact that there were screens for the little ones. Kids should not be distracted with screens.
It’s horrible for their developing brains and also takes them away from presence of what’s being done in their bodies.
My 3 year old had her first haircut here and she absolutely loved it. She asked if she could get a haircut again tomorrow! Haha she loved sitting in the pink car and having a “spa day” like Mom. Will be back!
