Words cannot explain the amazing work that Mayra does each and every time I come in! She is absolutely an amazing stylist with a beautiful heart. She has been my stylist ever since I moved to Austin over 2 years ago. Cheers to many more! Thank you, Mayra!

I got my first haircut from Raven sometime during the pandemic when my hair had gotten longer than ever before. I was planning on going short again but she encouraged me to try a new style and embrace the longer, curlier hair. I gave it a shot and she did an amazing job. I’ve staid with her and she has made some modifications to my hair along the way but her commitment to listening to what I’m wanting and guiding me to something better is always on point. I’ll be a loyal Bird’s customer as long as Raven keeps styling my hair!

Birds is by far the best place I've ever had my hair cut. I was struggling to find a good fit when I moved to Austin, but after my first visit to Birds Barbershop, I knew that I'd found the place. They have incredibly friendly staff and really convenient online booking. Also there's lots of LGBT+ flags and stickers all year round, not just during pride month. That immediately made me feel safe and comfortable.I highly recommend Rae M as a stylist! Incredibly kind and easy to talk to. My cut has always been just what I want and very quick.
