I have been going to Birds ever since the very first one opened. Even when I didnt live in Austin, I would save my haircuts for my visits to Austin and still went to Birds. The stylists listen very well to what you ask for and always do a good job. It doesnt matter which location - Ive been happy with at least 4 locations.

This place used to be great. I’ve come here for haircuts since the Rock Rose location opened. In all that time, I was always charged for a service that matched the amount of time that was spent on the cut. Although I have longer hair, the service typically only took 20-25 minutes, so I was always charged for a Shortcut. However, this has not been the case for my past two visits. Both times, only after the service was completed, I was told that I had to pay extra because of the length of my hair and that it didn’t matter how long the service took. What made matters worse was that, not only did I have to pay more, but both barbers spent less than 15 minutes on my hair....read full review

I switched to this location a few months ago and lucked out with meeting Samantha, who has been doing my haircuts since. She is able to take my "vision" and give me an amazing cut each time. She's personable and I enjoy chatting during the haircut service. Happy to have connected with her and plan to continue going as long as possible!
