This was the first time that I used a VA Dental Clinic and I was very pleasantly surprised.
I went to the VA dental sick call on Thursday around 1300 hours and the receptionist Mickel Lake was really nice and explained that dental sick call was from 0800 to 1000 and would be opened on Friday and would not open again until Tuesday because of the holiday.
I went to dental sick call on Friday at 0800 hours and saw receptionist Mickel Lake again. He was very helpful and friendly.
I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called back. I didn’t get the dental tech’s name she was very thorough and friendly.

I get labs in Palestine and community care for dental and other procedures at Athens, BCS etc.. I kinda live in the woods. VA pays for travel pay so I feel blessed that though it is a bit of a hassle sometimes, I still have free healthcare and meds that could cost thousands a month. Last week I had an ignorant golf cart driver refuse to take my service dog as well as myself... read full review
