We love Austin Pet Stylist, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, kind and top quality groomer. Their prices are reasonable, their communication is great and the salon is a welcoming, inclusive place. We have brought two Pomeranians here (one with coat issues, and one who is a bit of a handful) and have received the best care.
Pomeranians are a notoriously hard breed to groom, due to their double coat, and if not groomed and cared for correctly, they can actually lose their fur. I previously worked here, they are very professional, meticulous about their grooms. It's mostly a master grooming salon so the stylists are well versed in advanced breed standard cuts. The owner also teaches pet cpr and first aid. There are cancellation and no show policies like most salons, if you book please be aware of the policies. The salon is highly respected in the industry due to its quality, knowledge, and care of pets.
Loved visiting this salon! Plenty of parking and the facility itself was VERY clean. The layout for the groomers and the client pups was thoughtful in design and execution.The stylist groomers I met were on their game. I found them to be well trained, professional, smart, relaxed, well intentioned, respectful of humans and canines, and in control of their stations, as well as the broader environment for the best possible experience for each individual dog.I overheard and observed an interaction between the owner and one groomer regarding a CPR/first aid class that was to be conducted the following day (Sunday) on-site at the salon, to be given to students by the owner.The... read full review
