About WellMed at North Fielder
WellMed at North Fielder is a healthcare provider with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality primary care to over one million older adults across Texas and Florida. The facility offers a friendly and professional environment, with staff that are consistently described as smiling, attentive, and willing to answer questions. Patients appreciate the honesty and upfront communication from the staff, which helps foster a sense of trust and comfort. Many patients have been with WellMed for years, highlighting the continuity of care and the compassionate approach of providers like Nancy Davis and Dr. Ledesma, who are known for their caring and personable attitudes. Nancy Davis, in particular, has been praised for her thoroughness, knowing patients’ histories, and providing quick, accurate results—such as canceling unnecessary tests and guiding patients through treatments. The facility also offers convenient online services for contact, patient info, and medication refills. While most patients report positive experiences, some mention occasional staff rudeness, notably from a receptionist, though this does not seem to affect overall satisfaction with the providers. Overall, WellMed at North Fielder is recognized as a place where patients feel valued, cared for, and part of a family, with dedicated doctors who prioritize their health and well-being.
Nancy Davis CNS at Wellmed on Fielder Rd has been a blessing in my health care. I recently went for a mammogram test and when Nancy Davis received my results she called me and canceled the retest request. Nancy Davis knows my history and says it was unnecessary. No retest or biopsy needed. She made my day !
Been going for years. Staff changes occasionally. Nice facility. On line contacts/patient info/meds. Staff always smiling, always hear and answer requests. Been seeing Nancy Davis, she hot me through cancer treatments/illnesses. You are a patient, but shortly you will be family. They ask the questions from your insurance company, but if you refuse a procedure, they stand with you. Some patients get monthly calls at home, I do, quick easy and painless. I will NOT go anywhere else
Doc Rodger is the absolute best of a Dr. you would want. He is my best friend in this world and spends time to really know his patients. The new name is Well med. Its changed but Doc Rodgers is worth the trouble.
There is a rude receptionist named Nora.
The women named Nora was rude in tone and questioning me in a harsh tone when I called for my doctor to help me out with a problem. She has been rude to people on numerous occasions and will no doubt try to retaliate for this review. I've been going to this dr for 20 years so I'm not worried. He doesn't want these kind of people in his office. If you get Anthony on the phone, he is gold!
