I took in a stray cat and he was in rough shape. The clinic I usually go to had no appoints for a week. I searched on-line for an alternative and came across a listing for the Pet Hospital at South Collins. They had an appointment open and I grabbed it - SO GLAD I did! Wonderful, caring people, the vet was a GEM and her and her lovely assistant gave us (and the cat) all the time and care needed.
I have found my new clinic and I encourage ANYONE who needs a vet, or is not happy with your current provider, to give these folks a try. They discussed the cost of each treatment/medicine, gave me choices and a treatment plan. Even emailed a written estimate for having him neutered, when the time comes (LESS expensive than my old clinic!). My old clinic was competent, but I never felt like they listened, or gave me much time. Or really cared about my cats. The Pet Hospital was so kind to my new, beat up little guy, and I know he is in good hands.

We just got out of this vet office and my dog is SUPER happy. Hims had his ears cleaned and his nose all checked up. Even got information cleared up for us and was able to make a more informed decision for the future health of our pet. Our dog is 80/90lbs of full excitement and these tiny ladies handled him with GRACE and quick thinking!! Rachel was the star of the show saving our mischievous pup from eating napkins for his ear cleaning, with a squeaky chicken! Dr. Seitz was super sweet and full of information that was VERY helpful. This vet gets a 5/5 for being so loving and patient with our silly pup.

We found my baby, Parker, in a Walmart parking lot and took him to the Thrive Emergency Vet Clinic off 287. We found out that my baby had a chronic condition and deformities, so after receiving extensive care, they sent us to follow up with Dr. Seitz at the Pet Hospital at South Collins. We love Dr. Seitz because she has always handled Parker with care and taken our concerns seriously. The vet techs and assistants are kind and patient. The receptionist is extremely helpful. In our last visit, she pointed out the discount code for thrive emergency vet in case we needed to seek a higher level of care for Parker. I never feel pressured into extra diagnostics or procedures when we discuss the cost of care. The team always presents me with all of my options, including the option to only choose supportive care (fluids, diet changes, pain management, etc.). Parker is a thrive plus member which helps with cost as he is eligible for $0 exam fee, 10% off diagnostics, and other deals of services. We plan on switching our other four animals from Banfield to Thrive Plus and continuing care with Dr. Seitz.
Update: I was able to move our follow up appointment to an earlier time. We want to thank the doctors and staff for helping us see the vet sooner. Parker’s doctor identified the root cause of his condition. Although it was not news I wanted to hear, I am grateful that he has an honest team. We have decided to manage his condition until he shows signs of suffering. We thank his team for their help.

I love the Pet Hospital at South Collins. They are wonderful. Both my dogs love them. From entering the building, to being put in a room, the exam, etc. the staff really pay attention and love the dogs. The vets are awesome. They answer every question and are great with the dogs.
