About LA Fitness
LA Fitness is a gym that offers various amenities at a great value, including state-of-the-art equipment, basketball courts, group fitness classes, a pool, saunas, Kids Klub, and personal training. Members have access to a clean and well-maintained gym, locker rooms, and a pool area. However, some members have noted that hygiene in the jacuzzi and pool areas could be improved, as not everyone showers before use and paper protectors for the toilets are occasionally missing. The gym has recently updated its main workout areas, but some of the cardio equipment is old and may not always be in service. Many members have mentioned that half the equipment is broken and has signs saying it is scheduled for maintenance. The staff is friendly and attentive, taking complaints seriously, and they try their best to keep the gym clean. Nevertheless, some members have observed that the trash cans are often overflowing and there may not be soap in the sinks in the men's room. The saunas can get crowded, and the hot tub is occasionally only partially drained. Overall, LA Fitness is a good quality gym located in a great area, with a variety of amenities, although cleanliness and equipment maintenance could be better, as noted by its members.
Great location at Lincoln Square by all the malls, restaurants and Arlington stadium.
Staff is always attentive and take complaints very seriously; if there’s a rude member or equipment that’s broken, they start problem solving.
There are 4 pool lanes, a lovely hot tub, several treadmills, a mini gym for tennis type recreation, various weights and running areas and this place takes security VERY seriously so there are police towers in the parking lot, keypad to get into the shower/pool rooms & BOLO warnings posted on the locker rooms (which are pretty well upkept).
Zero complaints, only wins at this place!
This was first time I didn’t swim at a LA fitness and the gym overall was fair. The gym equipment was old but worked, not cleaned properly. The shower was fine, but nothing great. Overall it gets a 3 out of 5
The only reason I go here is because there isn’t a gym closer to my house with a pool. However, the pool has been completely overrun with Boomers who only use it to walk and flop around while playing their music as loud as their speakers can go. The front desk there’s nothing they can do to limit walking to a specific lane or reserve a time to lap swim. Half the equipment is broken and has a sign saying scheduled for maintenance. But for that to be true someone would have to be scheduled to fix it eventually. Half the treadmills have been broken for two months.
Also, this is the filthiest LA Fitness I’ve ever been to. I don’t know what their janitor gets...read full review
