Verdure is a popular fitness and health club in Amarillo that offers a wide range of amenities, including a heated outdoor lap pool, indoor basketball court, climbing wall, and state-of-the-art machines with a great view. The KidZone is a major draw, with exceptional care provided by the staff. The locker rooms are also a standout, featuring an infinity pool, jacuzzi, and dry and wet saunas. While some members have expressed concerns about the fees, overall, Verdure is a great gym with plenty of equipment and amenities to suit various fitness needs.
Though the gym has its flaws in other areas.. the KidZone is the reason why we remain members. I’m very particular about who my kids are around. Each staff member in the KidZone is excellent. One of the only places my kids willingly go and enjoy. Having to adjust my own standards with workout equipment to ensure my kids are well taken care of is worth the trade.
10/10 staff and professionalism. Theyre always friendly and helpful.
4/10 on reliability of equipment being broken or functional. I honestly wish they’d levy fines on people slamming weights. Stuff is always broken. But the way people throw stuff around like they do, its no surprise 😡
Someone mentioned basement being hot. I actually like the gym being on the warm side. I thought they kept it warm on purpose. It feels good and you sweat way more. Lol there is a fan down stairs in the basement you can use which provides plenty of air flow to stay comfortable

We've been members now for over 4 years! Love this gym! We were drawn to it b/c of the incredible KidZone. What we didn't know is that our kids were going to be SO well taken care of by Jeannie and her staff. She has gone above and beyond what I ever expected and we have absolutely LOVED the MDO and summer camp options. I recommend this gym to anyone I know looking for a place to workout.
