Urgent Care at Swann Animal Clinic

We took our dog in to have her teeth cleaned at 7:15 in the morning. Swann made a big deal of having him there between 7:00-7:40. That afternoon at 1:50 we called Swann to get an update on our Sheltie. The front desk person told us that they had not even started her teeth cleaning. Our dog had been in a cage for 6.5 hours! She hadn’t eaten all day while being trapped in the cage. We immediately got in the car and drove to get her. Once we got there they told us that we owed for blood work, but showed us no evidence that any blood work had been done. Dr V told us that they would turn us into “collections”. We are not paying for you being cruel to our dog for nearly 7 hours! We won’t be going back to Swann Veterinary Clinic.

Don’t take your pets to a Swann animal clinic on a SATURDAY!!!
They don’t tell you, but because it’s a weekend, they UP CHARGE you.
They don’t communicate that to you when making the appointment.
I just left that location because I’m not paying their $ up charge.

Prior to this, I went a week ago, they had a young lady look at my dog and completely missed a double ear infection on my dog.
Went back a few days later, had a different vet look at my dog to find the double ear infection.
This place is sketchy as hell.
I wouldn’t recommend Swann to anyone.

Hopefully there is a better veterinarian in Amarillo that people trust.

We had a emergency with a puppy we had to come in pretty late at night . Stetson went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and that our puppy was to. Every time he came into the room he greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. We will not go to anyone else because of this visit. Thank you Stetson for going above and beyond for two people who have never had to deal with these issues. We are so thankful for you and your knowledge.

Dr. Dodson also gave us great InfoMation we would have had no idea about. Told us her experience with our issue and made us feel better about the situation. She was kind and made us feel at home. Thank you Dr. Dodson.

I had to take my cat in after hours and this facility was amazing. Everyone that I interacted with was so kind and helpful. Wait time was minimal. 10/10 would recommend Swann urgent care!

We took our sweet baby in for what we thought was a minor ear issue, but it turned out to be a hematoma. The vet and tech were absolutely amazing. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly, even drawing pictures to help us understand the procedure and our options. They truly went above and beyond, helping us find the best price possible and getting us scheduled quickly with a vet in Swann who had an opening for surgery right away. We’re so grateful for their compassion, transparency, and urgency in getting our old girl the care she needed.

To make a long story short i called in desperation June 21 . My lab had a large tumor that ruptured . I knew from that moment he needed euthanization. The person that answered the phone was very polite and understanding. She told me to bring him at 1. We were immediately taken to a room and the tech and vet were so nice. Our 16 year old lab was taken care of promptly and professionally. Top notch place. Clean, no smells and everyone was organized. I was so thankful they were open and he did not suffer very long. They will for sure always have a warm spot in my heart. Would recommend to everyone. Thanks for the compassion.

Thank you ! Dr. Enevoldsen and staff for the compassion you showed us with our girl Lola. She was so loved by us, and we miss her every day. She went so suddenly, and we are thankful she didn't suffer very long and for the 10 perfect years we had her. God Bless you and your staff.

I had the best experience! After my dog had consumed something dangerous, it was a snowy day and our original vet clinic was closing early. Swann urgent care were quick to get us in and were so helpful! I was worried sick to lose our fur baby. The doctor and staff educated us on different treatment options to explore. They even checked in on us the next day after our visit.
I am very thankful for there quick assistance and knowledge! I will definitely be back!

Hands down, Swann Animal Clinic has the best vets & vet techs in town. We’ve used 4 or 5 vets for our variety of pets, and no one matches Swann’s excellence. We especially appreciate their Urgent Care; several times we’ve had emergencies but didn’t want anyone else taking care of our pets. Special shout out to Drs Barber and Solomon; they’ve both saved our fur babies. Appreciate these fine professionals!
